Re-published posthumously by her loving children who say: Our mother wrote personal, even private poems, so why are we re-publishing this slimmer than slight volume again? She published this book herself, which can only mean there was a part of her that wanted family and friends to read what made her live and die a little at a time during those brittle days after our father's sudden death. These poems remain touchstones and markers of our last memories of her. Hence, here we share them, and her, with you.
"Sita left something of herself everywhere you care to look. She never forgot another's needs and never opted out." ~ Jeanne Pinto, May 1978
